Tecno has officially launched the Camon 19 series globally at an event in New York. The most impressive models were the Camon 19 Pro and its 5G Edition. The Camon 19 Neo and the standard Camon 19 were also unveiled, but details about their release in Pakistan and accurate specifications are hard to find.
Tecno Camon 19
The standard Camon 19 uses the Helio G96 chipset and has a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. The triple rear camera setup includes a 64-megapixel main lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP AI shooter with a Quad-LED flash. The front camera is 16 megapixels. The LCD display is 6.8 inches with Full HD resolution. The Camon 19 comes in 4GB/6GB RAM variants with 128GB storage. Like the Pro version, it also has Android 12, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and NFC support. The expected price is 34,999 PKR.
Tecno Camon 19 Pro
Tecno Camon 19 Pro The camera is one of the first to use a Samsung 64-megapixel RGBW sensor. Tecno claims it has the “industry’s slimmest bezel” at 0.98mm on the front. It has a 6.8-inch Full HD+ 120Hz display with a punch-hole for the 16MP selfie camera. The back has a diamond-coated finish and a dual-ring rear camera with three lenses: a 32-megapixel RGBW primary camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP AI sensor.
The 5G version uses the Mediatek Dimensity 810 chipset with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 storage options. The Pakistan version has a Mediatek Helio G96 SoC. The 64MP primary camera supports OIS but lacks RGBW technology. It has a 50MP telephoto camera and a 2MP portrait lens instead of the other sensors in the 5G model.
Other shared specs include a 5,000mAh battery with 33W Super Flash charging, Android 12, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The 8GB+256GB Camon 19 Pro 5G is expected to cost $320 (66,000 PKR), while the Camon 19 Pro will start at $280 (58,000 PKR)
Tecno Camon 19 Neo
Coming to Tecno Camon 19 Neo expected price is 39,999 PKR. In terms of design, the pictures below show the rear camera module as identical to the Tecno Spark 9 Pro. It’s an 6.8″ Dot-in FHD+ display. This refresh frequency hasn’t been specified however, the Resolution is stated as 1080 x 2360 pixels. The screen is able to fill an incredibly large area ratio.
The primary camera that is on one side of the new upgrade of the Tecno price list is an enlarged 48MP triple lens that comes with Quad Flash. Additionally, the front snapper has 32MP and Dual Flash.
Overall, this year, the new series has a more polished and premium design. No other concrete details are available for the internal specs or the expected price of the Tecno Camon 19 standard variant yet. The Phones will start rolling out to the global markets (including Pakistan) later this month.
