Tecno will be attending MWC 2025 in Barcelona, set to begin on March 3rd. While details were initially scarce, we now have confirmation on the smartphones and a laptop that the company will unveil at the event. Tecno’s Camon 40 Pro and its siblings will be among the key highlights.
Tecno Camon 40 Series – What to Expect
We’ve known for a while that Tecno is working on next-gen Camon devices, and now the company has officially teased the Camon 40 series design ahead of the event. Promotional images suggest at least two devices, likely the Camon 40 and Camon 40 Pro.
AI is a major focus for Tecno, and the Camon 40 series is expected to feature AI-enhanced photography. This suggests Tecno is putting more effort into software optimizations for its camera systems. Additionally, the series will debut a dedicated camera button, which could make photography more intuitive. A red button, visible in teasers, confirms this new addition.
Chipset & Performance
Tecno has confirmed that the Camon 40 series will use MediaTek processors, though specific models haven’t been revealed. The company is likely saving that detail for the official announcement.
Beyond Smartphones – Tecno’s AI Ecosystem
In addition to the Camon 40 series, Tecno will unveil “the World’s Lightest 14” OLED laptop”, the MegaBook S14. This laptop will integrate Tecno AI, making it part of the brand’s productivity ecosystem.
Tecno is also launching AI Glasses and AI Glasses Pro, expanding its AI-driven product lineup. The company may stagger these releases, debuting the Camon 40 Series on March 3rd, followed by the AI Ecosystem Product Launch the next day.
