Ulefone launches rugged Armor X31 Pro smartphone.

    From, United States

Ulefone has just revealed the Armor X31 Pro, marking its entry as the first 5G rugged smartphone in the Armor X series. This phone feels like a powerhouse for its category, thanks to the Dimensity 6300 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. Plus, you can expand the storage up to 2TB with a microSD card—a real bonus for heavy users.

The device boasts a stunning 6.56-inch HD+ LCD display with a silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate, safeguarded by durable Gorilla Glass 5 and capable of reaching an impressive peak brightness of 800 nits. A high-resolution 16MP selfie camera is neatly integrated to capture crisp self-portraits and engage in video calls.

What really stands out is the rear camera setup. It’s got a 64MP primary sensor (Sony IMX682), a 25MP Night Vision camera (Sony IMX550), and a 2MP macro lens. Alongside these are two IR LEDs, a standard LED flash, and something Ulefone calls an “Independent Glare Flashlight.” This flashlight delivers up to 120 lumens and can be toggled with a customizable button on the left side of the phone.

The Armor X31 Pro packs a 6,050mAh battery with 18W charging, which should easily last through a day or more of rugged use. It also includes NFC, an IR blaster, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and has both MIL-STD-810H certification and IP68/69K ratings for durability.

If you’re into accessories, Ulefone offers an Armor Case with a rotatable back clip and a carabiner for easier handling. There’s also an Armor Mount, Armor Mount Pro, and a Sports Armband, all sold separately.

The device is available in a trio of stylish hues: Timeless Black, Vibrant Orange, and Radiant Green. It’s priced at $399.99, but starting January 1, 2025, it will launch on AliExpress at an introductory price of $199.99.

Overall, the Ulefone Armor X31 Pro looks like a solid choice for anyone needing a tough, feature-packed smartphone that doesn’t skimp on performance. The launch price, in particular, makes it even more appealing.
