Vivo is pushing ahead with its V50 series. After launching the standard V50 back in February, the company has now confirmed the launch of a new variant—the V50e. According to the official announcement, the phone will be unveiled in India on April 10 at noon local time.
While Vivo hasn’t released the full specs list yet, a lot of details have already come out through teasers on its official pages and Amazon India. Based on that, here’s what we can expect.

The V50e will be available in two color options: Sapphire Blue and Pearl White. The display design follows the trend we’ve seen lately—it’s quad-curved with a centered punch-hole cutout. That front camera will be a 50MP unit, and it supports 4K video recording, which is worth noting in this price segment.

On the back, there are two cameras. The main one uses Sony’s IMX882 sensor, and the second is an ultrawide lens with a 116-degree field of view. The rear cameras also support 4K video recording, and the setup includes Vivo’s Aura Light feature, something we’ve seen before in the V50.

One of the standout things about the V50e is its durability. Vivo has given it an IP68 and IP69 rating, which means it’s well protected against dust and water. That’s not something you find in every mid-range device.
We might hear more details in the days leading up to the launch, especially about the processor and battery. But from what’s already confirmed, the V50e looks like it could be a solid addition to the lineup. I’ll be keeping a close watch and will share more once the phone officially drops.
