Vivo has officially announced the launch date for its upcoming X200 series. According to the company’s post on Weibo, the X200 Ultra and X200s will debut in China on April 21. Alongside these two phones, Vivo will also introduce the X200 Pro, Pad SE, and Watch 5.

What caught my attention right away was the teaser for the X200 Ultra Rimowa edition. It has a silver design inspired by the well-known luxury luggage brand, and from the looks of it, Vivo is aiming to make a visual statement with this model.

There’s also been a hands-on video leak of the X200 Ultra Rimowa edition. The video gives a full view of the phone’s design, and one thing stands out—the size of the camera bump. It’s even more prominent than the one we saw on the X100 Ultra, which says a lot.
As for the camera hardware, the leaked information points to some serious specs. The phone is expected to feature a 14mm ultrawide 50MP sensor (LYT-818), a 35mm main camera also using the 50MP LYT-818 sensor, and an 85mm periscope lens with a custom 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP9 sensor.

With these features, the X200 Ultra looks like it’s being positioned as a high-end camera phone. Most people are interested to see how it performs in real-world use. The full reveal is just a couple of weeks away, so we won’t have to wait long for the official details.
