The Vivo Y19s launched earlier in October, and we’ve covered its features before. Back then, pricing and availability were still unknown, but now that it’s officially released in Thailand, we finally have the price details for both the 4GB and 6GB versions. Let’s look at whether this budget device is worth the tag it carries.
The Vivo Y19s boasts a spacious 6.68-inch IPS LCD screen, complemented by a silky-smooth 90Hz refresh rate. However, the resolution is on the lower side at 720p HD+, though its peak brightness of 1000 nits should make it easy to read in bright conditions.
Vivo added a punch-hole design here, which is a first for this line—it holds a 5 MP front camera. The back houses two flash LEDs on top and an additional ring LED at the bottom for notifications. The rear camera setup combines a 50 MP main sensor with a 0.08 MP depth sensor, and it can handle 1080p video at 30 FPS. The Unisoc T612 processor inside may limit the screen resolution and video quality, but it should be enough for daily tasks.
On the software front, it runs Funtouch OS 14 with Android 14, which, along with up to 6 GB RAM, should provide a decent user experience. Plus, a 5500mAh battery gives the Y19s solid longevity, paired with 15W charging, dual speakers, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader—everything you’d expect in a budget-friendly daily driver.
