Xiaomi is gearing up to launch two new tablets, the Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro. While these aren’t successors to the Pad 6S Pro, they are expected to replace the Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro, released in April 2023. Based on leaks, the Pad 7 will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and will support 45W wired charging. Meanwhile, the Pad 7 Pro will take things up a notch with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and 67W wired charging.
Both models are said to share the same 11.16-inch LCD display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, offering a smooth visual experience. However, the Pad 6S Pro will remain available as Xiaomi’s high-end tablet option. As for the launch date, it’s rumored that the Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro could be unveiled alongside the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro later this month.
If you’re in the market for a new tablet with solid performance and fast charging, these upcoming models from Xiaomi may be worth keeping an eye on.
