Infinix has introduced the Note 50s 5G+, adding a distinctive element to its affordable midrange Note 50 series. This device stands out due to its unique scent-infused back panel, which sets it apart from other phones in its category.

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, the Note 50s 5G+ offers solid performance for its price range. The phone is equipped with a dual-camera setup, featuring a 64MP main sensor with a Sony IMX 682 sensor and a 2MP secondary lens. The display is a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,300 nits, offering a vibrant and smooth visual experience. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and has a slightly curved design.

A standout feature of the Note 50s 5G+ is its “Energizing Scent-Tech,” available only on the Marine Drift Blue variant, which boasts a vegan leather back. The technology uses microencapsulation to release a fragrance over time. The scent combines marine and lemon top notes, lily of the valley as the middle note, and amber and vetiver as base notes. The intensity and longevity of the fragrance depend on usage and environmental factors, though Infinix has not specified how long the scent will last.

The Note 50s 5G+ uses Android 15 with XOS 15 and has a big 5,500mAh battery. It charges fast at 45W, and the charger comes with the phone. It also supports bypass charging and 10W reverse wired charging, providing flexibility for users who are frequently on the go.
The “5G Plus” designation indicates improved connectivity with faster speeds and higher capacity. However, coverage is limited to select urban areas with mmWave support, meaning it will perform best in tech-forward regions.

The phone will be available in Marine Drift Blue, Titanium Gray, and Burgundy Red. The base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at INR 15,999 ($190/€165), while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at INR 17,999 ($210/€185). Sales will begin on Flipkart starting April 24.
