Oppo is gearing up to launch its high-end Reno 13 series in Pakistan, and I’m here to break down what to expect. The global rollout is nearly complete, and Oppo has now confirmed that the Reno 13, Reno 13 Pro, and Reno 13 F will be unveiled locally on March 12 through a live event.

The company seems to be focusing on AI features and underwater durability this year. Their official site is already teasing some key highlights, so let’s dive into the details of each model.

Oppo Reno 13 Pro

As the top-tier device in the lineup, the Reno 13 Pro brings a design aimed at younger users with an urban avant-garde aesthetic. It comes loaded with AI-powered tools like AI Editor in the gallery, AI Live Photo in the camera, and a new feature called 3-second Zinda Moments. Oppo is also pushing AI LinkBoost 2.0, which enhances connectivity. Notably, this is the only model in the series with a 3.5x telephoto camera.

Under the hood, it packs a Dimensity 8350 processor, making it a powerhouse, especially with Android 15 running out of the box. The display is a 6.83-inch AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and HDR10+ support. The camera setup is impressive, featuring a 50 MP main lens, a 50 MP 3.5x telephoto, an 8 MP ultrawide, and a 50 MP front camera.

A standout feature is its IP69 rating, meaning it’s built for underwater photography. Battery life is solid with a 5800mAh capacity, and it supports 80W wired charging. With its high-end specs, the Reno 13 Pro is expected to be on the pricier side.

The standard Reno 13 keeps many of the Pro model’s features but in a slightly smaller package. It shares the same AI-powered tools and design language but comes with a few compromises. The battery is slightly reduced to 5600mAh, there’s no wireless charging, and it lacks the telephoto lens.

Performance-wise, it still uses the Dimensity 8350 chip, with up to 12GB RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It runs on ColorOS 15 with Android 15. The IP69 rating remains, making it dust and water-resistant. The camera setup includes a 50 MP main lens with OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide, and a 2 MP sensor. It can record in 4K at 60 FPS. The front camera is the same 50 MP sensor as the Pro. However, it only supports WiFi 6, compared to the Pro’s WiFi 6E. The display is a 6.59-inch AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution.

Oppo Reno 13 F

As the most budget-friendly option, the Reno 13 F makes some trade-offs to keep costs down. It actually has a slightly larger 5800mAh battery than the standard model but reduces charging speed to 45W. Despite its lower price, it still carries an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.

The display is a 6.67-inch AMOLED, but resolution drops to 1080p while keeping the 120Hz refresh rate. Instead of Gorilla Glass 7i, it uses Asahi Glass AGC DT-Star2. The camera setup is similar to the base Reno 13, with a 50 MP main lens, 8 MP ultrawide, and 2 MP third sensor, but the front camera is downgraded to 32 MP. Connectivity takes a hit, as it only supports dual-band 5GHz WiFi instead of WiFi 6.

Under the hood, it runs on the MediaTek Helio G100 chipset, making it the weakest in the series performance-wise. However, it still includes AI-focused features like AI Live Photo and AI Editor.

Final Thoughts

With the Reno 13 series launching in Pakistan on March 12, pricing will be a key factor in how well these devices perform in the market. Oppo has packed AI tools and waterproofing into all models, but only the Pro version gets premium perks like a telephoto lens and WiFi 6E. Once prices are revealed, we’ll see if Oppo’s latest lineup can compete in the local market. Stay tuned for updates.
