Infinix GT 30 Highlights Revealed Ahead of August 8 Launch

The Infinix GT 30 is set to break cover on August 8, and thanks to an early overseas listing, we already have a pretty solid picture of what’s coming. This one’s shaping up as a gaming-focused phone — think bold design, built-in shoulder triggers, and a performance-heavy chipset. If history is any guide, it should eventually make its way to Pakistan, so here’s the early rundown.

The design isn’t much of a mystery. Infinix teased it last week, and it’s essentially the GT 30 Pro in a fresh coat of green, with a few small changes to set it apart. The bigger difference is under the hood: instead of the Pro’s chip, the GT 30 will reportedly run on MediaTek’s 4nm Dimensity 7400. On paper, it pushes past 779,000 points in AnTuTu — a healthy figure, though actual gaming performance can hinge on more than benchmark bragging rights. One promising detail: PUBG maker KRAFTON will officially support the phone for 90FPS gameplay.

The hardware has a few extras to please the gaming crowd. Those customizable shoulder triggers can be remapped to handle different in-game commands. Infinix’s XOS 15 software brings along tools like AI Magic Voice Changer, ZoneTouch Master, Esports Mode, and other performance tweaks.

On the display side, expect a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel running at 144Hz, with a 1.5K resolution. It’s rated for a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, though that figure will likely only show up in short bursts, like during HDR playback.

The listing also pointed to a single configuration: 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM paired with 256GB of storage. Color options will include Pulse Green, Cyber Blue, and Blade White. As for the rest — cameras, charging speed, battery size — those details are still under wraps. Pricing hasn’t been confirmed either.

We’ll know the full story soon enough. The GT 30’s launch is just days away, and we’ll have a closer look once it’s official.
