Its Snapdragon 7 Gen1 chip has been utilized in only few phones to date(some of them are Xiaomi Civi 2, Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G comes with Dimensity 8100-Max (5 nm)/Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and falls far short of the success of the 700-series chips which preceded it. Qualcomm has a brand new 7-series chip that is in development called the SM7475 however its place within the Snapdragon family isn’t quite evident.
It may be called an upgrade to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 or be called 7+ Gen1. The CPU is three clusters, that includes 1x Prime 3x Gold, and four silver cores. Leakster Roland Quandt reports on the frequencies that are the most powerful for the clusters.
Honor has a new flagship phone coming based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (SM8550), codename is “Piaget”

Its Prime Core will operate at 2.4GHz and the Gold cores will be at approximately the same frequency, and Silver cores will increase higher to 1.8GHz. This is almost similar to those 7 Gen 1 frequencies: 2.4GHz Prime, 2.36GHz Gold and 1.8GHz Silver.
We do not know the hardware at this time In the event that it’s an Gen 2 chipset, it must use the latest design of the cores. That’s that Cortex-A715 is used is used for Prime and Gold cores , and the upgraded A510 in the Silver and Prime cores. 7. Gen 1. 7 Gen 1 uses the older Cortex A710 for Prime and Gold, and the A510 for Silver.
The Cortex-A715 and the reworked A510 have more efficiency than the predecessors but they are not significantly faster.
If we assume that these are the new cores, then we are likely to see a tiny performance boost, but a significant increase in efficiency. The A715 is 5 percent faster and 20 percent more efficient than A710. In addition, the A510 core received a minor change, but not enough to warrant the new model, however, it’s five percent more efficient.
The next Snapdragon Summit begins just one month away, and will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Generation 2. The Snapdragon 7 series chip will probably be announced at a separate location, however we’ll learn more about the details of what Qualcomm is planning in the near future.
