Today, Apple released the first public betas of iOS 16.3 and iPadOS 16.3. Public users will now be able to join the beta testing program and download the current developer versions that were released yesterday.
The biggest change in iOS 26.3 is a new data transfer tool that makes switching from iPhone to Android less painful. Google’s doing the same thing on their end, so moving between the two platforms should finally stop being such a hassle.

There’s also a Notification Forwarding feature, but only for EU users. It lets you push iPhone notifications to third-party smartwatches and fitness trackers. The EU basically forced Apple to add this so people could actually use non-Apple wearables properly. One catch, though – turn this on and your Apple Watch stops getting notifications. You can’t have both working at once.
Apple also shuffled around the wallpaper section. They split the old Weather & Astronomy category into two separate ones, and threw in some new weather-themed wallpapers while they were at it.
Not exactly groundbreaking stuff, but the Android transfer tool will matter to anyone thinking about switching. The notification forwarding is useful if you’re in Europe and prefer something other than an Apple Watch. Everyone else? Probably won’t notice much difference.
