Honor 200 is a semi-flagship mobile phone of 2024, and now the company has settled on the decision of launching that mobile in Pakistan. It has obviously come in late in the races, but additional competition in the local market is always appreciated. According to our sources, the Honor 200 will arrive in our territory at the end of November.

Screen on This Thing
The hardware of this device is good and it does not feel obsolete as well. It has a nealy bezeless OLED panel on the front. By the way, this is a quad-curve 6.7″ display which supports a quick 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5k resolution. It is said to be as bright as 4000 nits but this is likely only in order to make the HDR content look vibrant. Screen is just sufficient to place this phone on the map. Then comes the chip. It had a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 packed in by Honor. It is a 4nm octacore platform and it has a boost clock speed of approximately 2.63GHz. It also has an Adreno 720 graphics card, which is just as powerful as Snapdragon 800-series.

Cameras
On this Honor 5G new, the RAM size is up to 16GB and 512GB of storage, but we have to wait before Honor could declare the actual figures to our market. This old model has got a 50MP selfie. The back camera appears to be a three-lensured 50MP (main) + 50MP (telephoto 2.5x OIS) + 12MP Ultrawide camera.

Power Inside
Honor 200 is also equipped with 5200mAh Si/C battery which is also serviceable, though it might not be widely accepted by people when the phone cost is more expensive. It is compensated by the fast charging of 100W. This is able to recharge 57 percent of the battery within 15 minutes.
Software Side
The software itself is old and nearly two generations old by this time. When you take it out of the box it boots to an Android 14 system. As far as Honor has not changed the whole stock of Honor 200 to include the new firmware only to have it in our market, we expect that the buyers will be left with Android 14 until they can use new updates over the air. With Honor already unveiling the Honor 400 series, the demand of the more older 200 series variant would not be that great. Honor needs to make it affordable in case they desire to see sales results. We will have to wait and observe how this unfolds, what variants they introduce in Pakistan and at which price. Continue following the news.
