The Xiaomi Poco F7 might be launching soon, especially now that the Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra have already been released globally. Leaks circulating online suggest that the Poco F7 could arrive by the end of next month, and it’s likely that one of the Asian markets will get it first.

Based on what I’ve seen, it seems like the Poco F7 will be released in multiple regions, so we can expect a global launch. According to reports from Yogesh Brar, the official debut of the Poco F7 is expected in late May 2025. If the rumors are true, the Poco F7 might just be a rebranded Redmi Turbo 4 Pro from Xiaomi’s sister brand, Redmi. We’ve seen Poco do this before—rebranding Redmi devices, so this wouldn’t be the first time.
If the Poco F7 is indeed based on the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, we already have a pretty good idea of what to expect from its specs. The device will likely feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, a chipset with eight cores and a 3.2GHz clock speed. Even though the “s” in the chipset name typically indicates lower performance, this new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 is still expected to perform faster than last year’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. However, the GPU might not be as powerful as the previous version, though it probably won’t have a noticeable effect on everyday use.

Moving on to the display, the Poco F7 is expected to feature a 6.83” flat OLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, LTPS technology, and around 1.5k resolution. The screen will likely have slim bezels with a small dot-hole cutout for the 20MP selfie camera. It’s also expected to support HDR10+ and deliver 3200 nits peak brightness, making it great for outdoor use.
In terms of battery, the Poco F7 will probably include a 7550mAh Si/C Li-Ion battery, which Xiaomi has managed to fit into an 8mm thin body. While there’s no wireless charging, the wired charging speed will be fast at 90W. As for the rear camera setup, the Poco F7 will likely have a 50MP main camera paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens.
However, I must point out that these specs are based on the assumption that the Poco F7 is a rebranded Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. Until we get official confirmation from Xiaomi, it’s best to take these details with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the official launch.
