Sharing a boarding pass with your wife or a spare concert ticket with a friend has been a slightly stupid process on Galaxy phones. Screenshot the pass. Send the image. Hope the QR code scans at the gate. Or hunt for a share option in whatever third-party app issued the thing.

Samsung’s fixed it. A new Quick Share update, spotted in the changelog by CID on X, adds support for sharing Samsung Wallet items directly, tickets and boarding passes included. Send the actual pass, not a picture of it. Bug fixes ride along too, as always.
Don’t go looking for it just yet though. SamMobile reported that nobody on their team
had received the update regardless of region, which is the usual sign of a phased rollout, so it could be days before it reaches your device. Nothing on version number or download size either.
If you’d rather not wait around for it to arrive on its own, open Galaxy Store, tap the three-dot menu, then Updates and Update all. Worth doing before your next flight, honestly, since a live pass beats a screenshot every time when the gate scanner is being difficult.
