Realme recently launched the C75x as a new budget option, and it’s expected to arrive in Pakistan in the next couple of days. The price is expected to fall between 40,000 to 45,000 PKR, which raises some concerns about how it will be received by buyers in Pakistan.
I’ve gathered that the Realme C75x may face some challenges in the local market. The hardware, while functional, seems outdated for the price. The phone has a 6.67” display, which is a decent size, but the 720p resolution and 500 nits brightness makes it hard to use in bright environments. The low resolution affects the display’s readability, especially in direct sunlight. For the selfie camera, Realme has opted for a 5 MP sensor, which is underwhelming for a phone in this price range, especially since competitors like Infinix and Tecno offer better selfie cameras at a similar price.
When you flip the phone over, the rear camera setup isn’t any better. It includes a 50 MP main camera along with a secondary lens that doesn’t do much in terms of adding photo variety. The images lack detail, and the overall camera performance is disappointing, which could turn off potential buyers looking for a more versatile camera experience.
The Realme C75x runs on Android 15 with MediaTek’s Helio G81 Ultra (12nm) chipset, which is now quite outdated. This means you might experience slow performance, stability issues, and difficulty running more demanding apps. The phone lacks UFS storage and comes with eMMC 5.1, which translates to slower data transfers and longer app loading times.
To add to that, there’s some confusion around the device’s RAM. While the C75x has 8 GB of physical RAM, you might hear marketing claims about 16 GB of RAM, but this is not the case. Be cautious about these claims when the device launches.
On the bright side, the C75x does come with a 5600mAh battery and 45W fast charging, which is decent for the price. It’s also IP68/IP69-rated, meaning it’s drop-resistant and offers some water and dust protection. But, given the outdated hardware, I believe this phone would be better suited for a price tag under 30,000 PKR, especially considering the current market in Pakistan.
So, if you’re considering purchasing the Realme C75x, I recommend being cautious. The phone’s hardware doesn’t match the price, and better options are available at this price point. Consider this before choosing.
