Realme’s teasing their next budget phone, the C85 Pro, over in Vietnam as of late October 2025. It’s part of the C series, which usually hits the low-end market with solid basics. No full launch yet, but the company’s spilling beans on standout features like a huge battery and tough build—aimed at folks wanting cheap but reliable gear.

Battery Size and Tech

They’re packing a 7000 milliamp-hour battery in this one, the biggest yet for the C line. Last year’s C75 had 6000mAh in both its 4G and 5G versions—no pro model then to compare directly. That extra 1000mAh means longer runtime; figure two days easy on mixed use like calls, browsing, some videos—less if you’re gaming heavy. When it dies, 45-watt charging kicks in for quick tops-ups, maybe half an hour to 50% depending on conditions.

Battery Fitting Details

To fit that beast without bulking the phone, they’re using silicon-carbon anode material in the lithium-ion setup. This tech lets batteries hold more energy in thinner packs—phones with it stay under 8mm thick usually, unlike older ones that puff up with big cells.

Durability Ratings

Teaser confirms MIL-STD-810H certification, a military-grade test for drops, shocks, temps—means it survives falls from a meter or so onto hard surfaces without cracking. Matches what the C75 offered last year.

IP Rating Explained

IP69 rating steps it up too: full dust seal and handles high-pressure hot water jets, like from a hose at 80-100 degrees Celsius. Handy for accidents—drop in sink, rinse under tap, even survive steam—beyond basic splash-proof IP54 on cheap phones.

Screen and Display Specs

From leaks, it’s got an AMOLED panel—that’s where the “Pro” tag likely comes from, upgrading over the IPS LCD on the regular C75. AMOLED means deeper blacks, vibrant colors, better power sip on dark modes compared to IPS which backlights everything.

Display Resolution and Features

Size isn’t nailed down, but resolution hits full HD+—around 1080 x 2400 pixels for sharp texts and vids. 120Hz refresh rate smooths scrolling, twice the 60Hz on basics—feels snappier. Brightness peaks at 4000 nits on paper, but real-world probably 1000-1500 nits outdoors, enough to cut glare.

Performance and Other Bits

Under the hood, Dimensity 6300 chip from MediaTek—entry-level 5G processor on 6nm, eight cores up to 2.4GHz. Handles daily stuff fine, light games okay, but not powerhouse. Up to 8GB RAM for juggling apps without too much lag.

Pricing and Launch

Price floats around $250 or 70,000 Pakistani rupees—fits mid-budget 5G spot. Launch eyed for early 2026, so more details soon.
