The Realme GT Neo2 didn’t stand out from its competitors, as seen in last week’s poll. It’s worth taking a second look. Since the poll was updated, we’ve released our own review of the device. Although we found some issues, the phone offers great performance and battery life for the price.
The options vary depending on the region you live in. For example, the GT Neo Flash wasn’t released in India, but the Realme X7 Max was, and it has similar features at a lower price. The same issues came up again.
The Realme GT Neo2’s Top Features at a Glance
The Neo2 and X7 Max don’t have telephoto cameras, but the X7 Max has a headphone jack. The Neo2 has a better screen and a bigger battery, but many people prefer the headphone jack over the screen’s HDR10+ feature.
There’s also a difference in chips – the Neo2 has a Snapdragon 870, while the X7 Max has a Dimensity 1200 (like the Poco F3 GT). Some people prefer the Dimensity chip, even though the Snapdragon is more popular.
The Realme GT Neo2 offers great performance and battery life for its price, but games are limited to 60fps, so you don’t get the full 120Hz display experience. Also, photography isn’t the main focus of this phone – it’s more about gaming and performance. Realme has other series that focus on photography.
Note: After the poll started, Realme released the GT Neo 2 in Asia, which is similar to the GT Neo Flash. There’s no word on international availability yet.
