Rumor has it: Samsung’s working on a Galaxy Z Flip FE for release next year.

Rumors have been swirling for a while about a more budget-friendly option in Samsung’s Z-series, and it seems more likely than ever that it won’t be a larger Z Fold model. Instead, Samsung is expected to go with a Galaxy Z Flip FE clamshell, potentially launching it alongside the Galaxy S25 Slim sometime in April.

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip FE could be a reality next year While there aren’t many details yet about the specs or price of the Flip FE, the same report mentions a Galaxy Z Fold7 launch around the same time. Typically, Samsung launches its Fold and Flip models together, so it’s safe to assume a Z Flip7 might arrive with it.

Samsung is also rumored to bring out two Z Fold models next year, though it’s unclear if either will be budget-friendly enough to get the “FE” label. More likely, we’ll see a standard Galaxy Z Fold7 as a follow-up to the Z Fold6 and a new version under the Z Fold Special Edition name.
