The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition flew off shelves in record time!

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition launched last week and saw an impressive demand, selling out in just 10 minutes after going live over the weekend. This model brings notable upgrades over the Fold6, with larger, more user-friendly displays, a slimmer build, and an upgraded 200 MP main camera.

Interestingly, the sale faced a 7-hour delay as Samsung recalibrated production quantities before deciding how many units to release. Demand was so high that retailers and carriers couldn’t even stock the phone due to supply shortages. Samsung hasn’t disclosed the number of units in the initial batch.

While there’s no plan for a global release, the Special Edition might enter the Chinese market as the Samsung W25, possibly featuring a black-and-gold design in collaboration with China Telecom. The price for this model is KRW 2,789,600, which converts to about $1,870 or €1,850.
