From, Pakistan
Infinix first launched the Zero 40 4G in Pakistan back in September. It’s a solid phone, no doubt, but missing a few things compared to its 5G version. If you’ve been holding out for the better model, good news—the Infinix Zero 40 5G is officially available in Pakistan starting today.
This one comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, running at a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. It’s also curved, giving it that high-end look and feel without breaking the bank. Unlike the 4G version, this one has HDR support, making visuals pop. The screen resolution remains 1080p FHD+ with 1300 nits of brightness, so outdoor visibility shouldn’t be an issue.

Performance-wise, the difference is night and day. The 4G model runs on a Helio G100 chip, which is decent for everyday use but nothing special. The 5G model, however, packs the Dimensity 8200 Ultimate, an octa-core chip clocked at 3.1GHz. This means better gaming, smoother multitasking, and an overall flagship-like experience. It also runs Android 14 with Infinix’s XOS 14 UI, and the version available in Pakistan comes with 12GB RAM.

Cameras also get a serious boost. The 108MP main sensor is still here with OIS for stable video recording, but what’s new is the ability to shoot in 4K at 60FPS on both the front and rear cameras. That’s something the 4G model can’t do. Infinix has also thrown in two 50MP cameras—one for ultrawide shots with a 120-degree field of view and another for selfies. There’s also a 2MP bokeh sensor for portrait shots.

On the software side, Infinix is stepping up its game with update support. The Zero 40 5G gets two years of OS updates and three years of security patches, which is reassuring. However, battery and charging remain the same as the 4G model—5000mAh with 45W fast charging. The only extra here is 20W wireless charging, which is a nice touch but doesn’t fully justify the price jump.

As expected from a premium device, it has an in-display fingerprint scanner and dual speakers for better audio. The Infinix Zero 40 5G, with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, is priced at Rs 114,999 in Pakistan. For those who want a high-performance phone with future-proof connectivity, this one’s worth considering.
