Last week, we got our first look at the Galaxy Z Flip7 through CAD-based renders. Now, the same source is back with an update, and the biggest change is the cover display. It’s reportedly growing significantly, taking up almost the entire upper half of the phone and even integrating the two cameras.

Cover Display Upgrade
The new cover display is rumored to be around 4 inches, a substantial jump from previous models. This design isn’t entirely new—we’ve seen similar concepts from other brands—but it’s a welcome change for Samsung. Without it, the Flip7 might have felt outdated at launch.

Expected Specs
The Galaxy Z Flip7 is expected to feature either the Snapdragon 8 Elite or Exynos 2500 chipset. It’s rumored to have a 6.8-inch inner display, a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide, 12GB of RAM, and storage options of 256GB or 512GB. The phone’s dimensions are said to be 166.6 x 75.2 x 6.9 mm (9.1 mm at the camera bump).

Final Thoughts
The larger cover display gives the Flip7 a more modern look, which should help it compete in the growing foldable market. While the design isn’t groundbreaking, it’s a step in the right direction for Samsung. We’ll have to wait for more details, but this leak suggests the Flip7 could be a solid upgrade. Stay tuned for updates.
