The Tecno Camon 40 series is just around the corner. Both the Camon 40 and Camon 40 Pro are now available for pre-order in Pakistan, and you can reserve either model by paying a Rs 5,000 deposit at any retail store. Pre-orders will be open until April 4th. If you reserve your device early, you’ll receive a one-year service extension, an exclusive gift, and a chance to participate in a lucky draw for some exciting prizes. The prices for the devices haven’t been revealed yet, but you can get your pre-order in before the official release.
Tecno Camon 40
The Camon 40 has a similar design but with a flat AMOLED display, also featuring 120Hz refresh rate and 1080p FHD+ resolution. The phone’s Panda King Glass offers screen protection, and it has an IP66 rating for basic water protection. The 32MP selfie camera doesn’t have Eye Autofocus, but it should still capture decent front portraits. The 50MP Sony LYT-700C main camera remains the same, with an 8MP ultrawide secondary lens for wider shots.
This model is powered by the Helio G100 chip, with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Like the Pro version, it comes with a 5200mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging. The Camon 40 also benefits from the same Tecno AI suite, making it a solid choice for users who want an affordable, yet feature-packed device.
Tecno Camon 40 Pro
The Camon 40 Pro stands out with its better selfie camera and water resistance. The device boasts a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display, offering a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 7i for added durability. This model also has IP68/IP69 water resistance, meaning it can survive being submerged in up to 2 meters of water for 30 minutes—ideal for underwater photography. The 50MP Sony LYT-700C main camera and 8MP ultrawide sensor offer good camera versatility, and the 50MP selfie camera is enhanced with Eye Autofocus tracking for sharp, clear portraits.
On the inside, the Camon 40 Pro features a Helio G100 SoC, which is a solid mid-range chipset. The device comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, making it a great choice for multitasking. The 5200mAh battery supports 45W fast charging, which can charge the phone to 50% in just 23 minutes or 100% in 43 minutes. The Tecno AI features, including AI Studio, AI Translation, and AI Noise Reduction, are also integrated into the HiOS 15 x Android 15 system, giving the device some useful and smart functions.
