OnePlus 11 Launching With Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

Before its worldwide debut on February 7, the OnePlus 11 was officially announced in its native Chinese market. While it does not have the word Pro in its title, the phone is an all-fledged flagship with the most recent and advanced processor, memory, and cameras.

Its SoC will be Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and OnePlus executives announced on stage that the chip will function at its highest capacity. It’s not a meaningful statement, but it could be a sign that OnePlus has ended its previous practices of limiting performance to improve battery life and keep temperature at bay.

The phone has the option of 16GB, 12GB and 12GB with the most recent LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB or 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.

The OnePlus 11 is built around the new 6.7″ LTPO 3.0 AMOLED display with 1440 px resolution. It has 1Hz-120Hz and more than 100 apps and is expected to work with fine adjustment.

The Hasselblad camera, located at the rear of the OnePlus 11, has been upgraded to a larger 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with multi-directional PDAF and OIS. The ultrawide-angle sensor is 48MP. Sony Phones IMX581 camera with autofocus, which allows you to be a macro-camera, and a 32MP Sony 2x Telephoto camera.

The camera’s 16MP resolution is tucked in a hole punched into the left upper corner.

The camera configuration is similar to its OTP Find N2 camera. However, this isn’t surprising since both brands announced a new strategic partnership last week. I’ve reviewed the camera and discovered its performance quite remarkable and could be better than the latest Snapdragon processor.

The OnePlus 11 battery has a 5,000mAh capacity, similar to the predecessor. This time, it is capable of charging at 100W speed via wire, but wireless charging isn’t available.

Gamers will be impressed by the X-axis vibrating motor, which is 602 cu. Mm, which is the most powerful on a smartphone currently, as the company claims.

OnePlus 11 is launching in China with Color OS 13 on top of Android 13 straight out from the box. This means that it will sell through Oppo Store and third-party retailers. Pre-orders have already been placed. The actual sales will begin on January 9, the Monday before.

The phone is available in Green and Black shades. The former has an aluminium rear panel, while the latter has a sandstone look. Prices start at CNY3,999 ($580/EUR545) for the 12/256GB variant, CNY4,399 ($640/EUR600) for the 16/256GB middle level, and CNY4,899 ($710/EUR670) for the most expensive 16/512GB version.
