Samsung Galaxy M42 5G was launched in 2021. Coming with Android 11 and One UI 3.1, it receives the OneUI 5.1 stable update that is based on Android 13.
The update is based on firmware version M426BXXU4DWB1 that requires an approximation of 1GB. It comes with the typical One UI 5.1 goodies and the February 2023 Android security patch.
The One UI 5.1 update for the Galaxy M42 5G is currently seeding in India, but the rollout should expand to other countries soon. If you haven’t received the update yet, you can check for it manually by heading to your phone’s Settings > Software update menu.
