Infinix only launched the Note 60 Pro in February, and its replacement has already turned up on paper. A phone with the model number X6766 was listed by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) today, and the entry gives its full name as the Note 70 Pro. EEC filings deal with encryption paperwork rather than hardware, so this one doesn’t say anything about specs.

Where The Specs Came From
The specs had already leaked from somewhere else. The same X6766 number appeared in the GSMA IMEI database in August, and a DevCheck listing for that model showed what’s inside:
- Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset
- 6.78-inch 1208×2644 screen at 144Hz
- 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage
- 50MP main camera with OIS
- 7,000mAh battery
How Much Has Actually Changed From The Note 60 Pro
Put that list beside the Note 60 Pro and most of it matches. That phone already used the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, already had a 6.78-inch 1208×2644 panel at 144Hz, and shipped with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage in its base model.
The battery is the one clear upgrade, going from 6,500mAh to 7,000mAh. In markets where the Note 60 Pro was sold with a 6,000mAh cell, the jump would be a full 1,000mAh. Anyone who already owns the Note 60 Pro won’t find much here to trade up for, unless battery life has been the thing bothering them.
When It Could Launch
EEC approval usually comes a few weeks to a couple of months before a phone goes on sale, so the Note 70 Pro shouldn’t be far off. Infinix hasn’t confirmed a date or a price yet.
