Infinix is about to release a new phone under the name Note Edge and some information is leaked by a tipster Paras Guglani about the new phone, it appears to be a promo picture and a list of the main features. The phone will likely be released in January 2026, as a part of a wider Note 60 release.
As stated in the post by Guglani about the X, the Note Edge will be powered by a 6,500mAh battery – which is quite large considering the size of the usual battery in this range, which is 5000mAh as of now. It appears that Infinix is gambling on survival instead of pursuing the trend of ultra-thin that has been the focus of the mid-range phones in the recent past.

The leak image features the Note Edge in green color with narrow profile. The back has a very large camera module with 2 sensors, an LED flash and what looks to be a filler light to record videos.
What’s under the hood
MediaTek has Dimensity 7100 5G that provides power to the phone, a chip that MediaTek recently quietly slipped into its portfolio. It is constructed on the 6nm process developed by TSMC with an octa-core CPU architecture with four Cortex-A78 performance cores at 2.4GHz and four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores at 2.0GHz. The Mali-G610 graphics card takes care of graphics and MediaTek says that it is approximately 8 percent faster than the one in the Dimensity 7050.
Efficiencywise MediaTek claims that the 7100 is around 5 percent more power efficient when used normally, and is as much as 23 percent more efficient in modem mode – which is important once you are attempting to stretch out that huge battery. LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, camera sensors of up to 200MP, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and 5G with download speeds up to 3.3Gbps are also supported by the chip.
On the front, the Note Edge has 3D curved AMOLED display at 1.5K – that is more pixels than the standard 1080p displays that you would find at this price level.
On the software side, it will have Android 16 preloaded. The three-year Android OS updates and five-year security patches promise by Infinix is also quite an attestation, notwithstanding that the brand in question has not always been characterized by an extensive software support.
Part of a bigger launch
The Note Edge is not an isolated product. It was identified in the SDPPI certification database of Indonesia with two other devices Infinix Note 60 and Note 60 Pro. The three should be launched concurrently.
The Note 60 Pro is creating its own hype since it is a great departure of Infinix- this will be the first phone that will not use MediaTek, but rather a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip. Geekbench entries have shown the Note 60 Pro to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 which is currently found only in the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ in China.
Therefore, we have two options here, one being the Note Edge which focuses on battery life and that curved display look whereas the other is the Note 60 Pro which targets the raw with the Snapdragon silicon. Both the phones will have Android 16 operating systems.
There’s also a Note 60 Ultra in the works for later in 2026, which Infinix has confirmed will be designed in partnership with Italian design house Pininfarina – the folks known for their work with Ferrari.
Infinix Note Edge rumored specs
- Display: 3D curved AMOLED, 1.5K resolution
- Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G (6nm)
- Battery: 6,500mAh
- Software: Android 16

The Note Edge looks like it’s targeting users who’d rather charge their phone every couple of days instead of obsessing over benchmark scores. Whether the Dimensity 7100 delivers enough grunt for everyday use remains to be seen – we’ll have to wait for real-world testing once the phone actually launches.
