Nothing launched a basic version of their Phone (3a) in October 2025. It is now available for pre-orders in Pakistan. Deliveries start from November 12, 2025. Their phones often look high-end even if cheap. This Lite model is their simplest one. It still has good features for the price. Global cost is about $250, but in Pakistan it sells for Rs 99,900.
Design and Build
It has Nothing’s clear back. You can see inside parts like wires. Cameras sit at the edge, not in the middle. They look uneven. It copies the CMF Phone (2) Pro design. Just adds new colors and clear cover. No zoom lens. Body uses plastic. It feels light. IP54 rating protects from dust and small water splashes. Not safe for full water dips. Be careful with drops or rain.
Screen
Front has 6.77-inch AMOLED screen. It shows deep black and bright colors. Dark parts turn off to save power. Full HD+ resolution, around 1080 x 2400 pixels. Clear for videos and games. 120Hz refresh makes scrolling smooth. No shakes like old 60Hz screens. Brightness goes up to 3000 nits for bright spots. Good in sun. Small hole at top for 16MP front camera. Takes clear selfies and calls.
Unlock Features
Fingerprint reader under screen. It uses light to scan finger. Unlocks quick. May fail if finger wet or dirty. Better types use sound waves on expensive phones. Android has face unlock too.
Cameras
Back cameras are basic. 50MP main with shake fix. Stops blur from moving hands. Good for dim light or fast shots. 8MP wide for big views like groups. Fits more without moving back. 5MP close-up for tiny things like flowers. Like Samsung’s cheap A17 model. Good for daily use. No fancy zoom or night shots. Records 4K video. Software fixes colors.
Battery
5000mAh battery. Lasts one day for normal use like web, calls, videos. Light use may go two days. Charges at 33W. USB-C plug. 50% in 20 minutes. Full in one hour. No wireless charge.
Software
Starts with Android 15. New from Google. Better privacy and app tools. Nothing OS 3.5 on top. Clean look. Few extra apps. Change icons easy. Three years of big updates. Gets Android 16, 17, 18. Plus safety fixes.
Chip and Connections
MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chip. Mid-level. Made on 4nm for low heat and long battery. Eight parts, top speed 2.5GHz. Good for daily work and medium games. Not for hard tasks. WiFi 6 for fast home net. Less wait on videos. Single speaker, loud but not wide sound. No IR for TV control. Storage fast, RAM 6GB or 8GB for apps.
