Oppo A96 was launched in Pakistan with the starting price of Rs. 41,999; According to schedule on 21 March. A mid-range smartphone that sits slightly over than the Oppo A76. The A96 has an incredibly fluid display as well as rapid charging capabilities. Oppo is taking pre-orders via its online partners and early bird buyers get the battery bank for free for each registration.

The specs aren’t the most competitive in the market at the moment but the performance is main feature for the Oppo phone. This Oppo A96 is powered by a huge battery of 5000 mAh, and SuperVOOC charging of 33W. Oppo promises 50 percent top-up within only 26 minutes. Additionally the anti-burnout AI protocols guarantee safe charging for up to 24 hours.

Next, we have the 6.49” IPS LCD. It rocks a wide color space, 180 Hz touch sampling, 90Hz refresh rate, and 1080P resolution. At a pixel density of 401 PPI and 600 nits, the Oppo A96 gets acceptably vivid and bright. We find a 16MP front camera embedded in its O-hole cutout.

The dual rear camera on the the new model of the Oppo A-series comes with 50MP f/1.8 wide-angle camera and an 2MP portrait lens. The A96 is able to capture in Night mode both on the front and back cameras using AI-based retouching as well as neon filters for portraits.

Oppo A96 comes with a scratch-resistant case rated IP5X as well as IPX4 for dust protection and waterproofing. The phone is able to withstand the impact of a drop about one millimeter. Dual speakers provide a full stereo sound. The power button doubles as a thumbprint scanner. There are two Glow Designs: Starry Black and Sunset Blue.

The A96 by Oppo is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680. It’s a brand new 4G chip and comes with 128GB RAM, 8GB RAM. memory. The ColorOS 11.1 x Android 11 is the default operating system.

Parallel to Oppo A phones launched, Samsung Galaxy also announced the A Series that includes Samsung Galaxy A13, Galaxy A23, Galaxy A33, Galaxy A53 & Galaxy A73.
