  5. My Thoughts

Realme has added another member to its budget-friendly C-series lineup, the Realme C75, which just debuted in Vietnam. While it’s positioned as an affordable device, this phone brings some surprisingly solid features that make it worth a closer look.

The phone has a 6.72-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, which should deliver smooth visuals for everyday use. But what’s more interesting is that the C75 is the first phone to launch with MediaTek’s Helio G92 Max chipset, a 4G-only SoC. This seems to be a slightly tweaked version of the Helio G91, tailored to handle everyday tasks efficiently.

Durability and Build

Realme has given the C75 a shockproof design, complete with ArmorShell Tempered glass for added screen protection. The phone also boasts an IP69 rating, making it resistant to water jets and dust. To top it off, it’s certified with a MIL-STD-810H military-grade shock resistance rating, which is rare for a budget device. This could be a great choice for people who need something rugged without spending a fortune.

Cameras and Software

On the camera front, the C75 has a 50MP main camera for photos and an 8MP front-facing shooter for selfies. It runs on Realme UI 5.0, based on Android 14, meaning you’ll get the latest software features out of the box.

Battery and Charging

Battery life is another highlight here. The C75 packs a 6,000mAh battery, which should easily last through heavy usage. It also supports 45W wired charging, and Realme claims it can double as a power bank, letting you reverse charge other devices through its USB-C port.

Color Options and Availability

The Realme C75 comes in two color options: Lightning Gold and Black Storm Night. While pricing hasn’t been revealed yet, the phone is expected to launch in other markets soon.

My Thoughts

The Realme C75 stands out in the budget segment with its tough build, large battery, and decent performance for a 4G phone. It’s clear Realme is trying to offer something unique in this price range, and the IP69 rating and military-grade certification make it an interesting option. I’ll keep an eye out for updates on pricing and availability to see if it delivers good value for its features.
