Xiaomi’s wearable lineup just expanded with the Smart Band 9 launch, a bigger, squarer upgrade to the Smart Band 9. This Pro version has a 1.74-inch AMOLED screen, a 336×480 resolution, and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. It’s lightweight at 24.5g and built with an aluminum alloy body, measuring 43.27 x 32.49 x 10.8 mm.
With 5ATM water resistance and a 350 mAh battery that Xiaomi claims can last up to 21 days, the Smart Band 9 Pro also supports NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, and multiple satellite positioning systems, making it useful for Android (8+) and iOS (12+) users. Health features cover heart rate, blood oxygen levels, stress tracking, and sleep analysis, and there are over 150 sports modes.
The event also introduced the Xiaomi Watch S4, which sports a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a 466×466 resolution, hitting 2,200 nits peak brightness. It comes with a user-swappable bezel, eSIM in one variant, and similar positioning system compatibility. Measuring 47.3 x 47.3 x 12 mm and weighing 44.5g, the watch is 5ATM water-resistant and includes fitness and health tracking, built-in running courses, AI route planning, a dual-mode walkie-talkie, and eSIM for calls and music.
With message replies, smart home control, and NFC car key support (in China), the Watch S4 starts at CNY 999 ($149). This launch is currently China-only, with no word yet on international availability.
