The Galaxy A53 belongs to the most recent line of premium mid-range smartphones from Samsung. It was unveiled globally on March 18th this year. However, the Samsung Galaxy A52‘s successor has just arrived in Pakistan. While Samsung is yet to announce the phone through its official social media channels however, Samsung’s Galaxy A53 is already available in retail stores throughout Pakistan.
The new Samsung Galaxy A53 features a brand’s unique 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution with a 120Hz refresh speed along with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The front of the phone has a 32-megapixel camera in the punch hole, as well as an on-display thumb reader. The phone has slim bezels that have the slice profile.
The 64MP wide primary shooter on the back features OIS, and you get 12 MP ultrawide + 5 MP macro + 5 MP portrait lenses alongside it. All wrapped inside the camera island that melts into the back panel. Other highlights include a microSD support of up to 1TB, an extended RAM (up to 8GB), and IP67 certification for dust and water resistance. on the flip side, there’s no 3.5mm audio jack.
Although the company doesn’t mention the chip on its official site, it’s inside is an Exynos 1280 CPU. It’s an Octa-core processor the Samsung five-nm EUV process, paired featuring 8GB of memory and 128 gigs of internal storage. The phone is equipped with Android 12 OS with OneUI 4 at the top. The internals run on a 5,000mAh battery. Although the phone supports advanced fast charging but the power brick that can make use of that technology isn’t included inside the box.
The Galaxy A53 is launched in four colors – Peach, Blue, white and Black, which are essentially soft mate shades. The new addition to the Samsung price list currently comes in a single 8/128GB version that starts at Rs. 85,999, while the 12/256GB tier can also join in later.
