No more guessing. Samsung has confirmed the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra are being announced on February 25 at a ‘Galaxy Unpacked’ event in San Francisco. If you can’t be there in person, Samsung is livestreaming it all from its website and on YouTube.

Pre-reservations have already kicked off too. If you’re in India, you can put down a small fee to lock in early access. Everyone else can register through Samsung’s site and pick up a $30/€30 voucher, a trade-in bonus, and a shot at winning additional vouchers on top.

You Probably Already Know What’s Coming

Here’s the funny part — by the time Samsung actually takes the stage, there won’t be much left to surprise anyone. As previously rumoured, pretty much all the key details have already leaked. So let’s run through what we know.

Galaxy S26 Ultra

The Galaxy S26 and S26+ will ship with Samsung’s Exynos 2600 chip, which will power the devices in most markets. The screen sizes remain as in the S25 generation. Both phones get 12GB of RAM. Battery-wise, the S26 has a 4,300mAh in it and the S26+ still has its 4,900mAh cell — same as that of being in the existing S25+. The rear camera setups on both are likely to remain largely unchanged too.

That is the Galaxy S26 Ultra, and that’s the one that’s getting the better silicon — a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 made exclusively for Samsung. It has a 5,000mAh battery with capabilities for up to 60W wired charging and 25W wireless. And camera resolution seems to be staying where it is, though the lenses are apparently going to have physically larger apertures that will aid low-light performance, even if the megapixel counts don’t budge.

So yeah, February 25. Mark it down, or just keep an eye on the leaks — they’ll probably have the hands-on photos before Samsung does.
