Security Update Roll Out Confirmed For Samsung Galaxy A01

    Samsung’s commitment to keeping its low-cost smartphones up to date is awesome for mid budget consumers. While other companies may neglect their aged entry-level models, the South Korean Champ (Samsung) rarely forgets. The Samsung Galaxy A01, a throwback from 2019, has just started received the latest 2023 security patch update.

    It goes to show how loyal Samsung is to its customer base. Users can access the latest features and security updates regardless of how old or cheap their phones are. Galaxy A01’s March 2023 update knocks back over 50 emerging vulnerabilities to your files and information.

    Currently, the March 2023 update is doing rounds in the US for Galaxy A01. Soon, it will start rolling out to Upon availability, your phone will likely notify you — if it doesn’t, Check for it manually by navigating to Settings > Software Update section.

    The OTA bumps Galaxy A01’s firmware version to A015U1UES5CWC1. Get life into your privacy and user experience, the update lacks new features. Still, for a device such as the Galaxy A01, bug fixes, and stability improvements are more than anyone could hope for.

    Galaxy A01, announced late in 2019, came out of the box with an Android 10 OS. In the years to follow, it received Android 11 and 12. Unfortunately, major OS updates won’t go any further for A01. However, in light of the chain’s promise, it will continue receiving security patches until the last of 2023.
